Alhamdulillah, with the initiative of DJS, we have successfully established a rehabilitation center that currently accommodates 20 individuals with disabilities. This center is designed to provide specialized care, therapy, and training, enabling these individuals to lead a dignified and self-reliant life. Our mission is to empower them through proper rehabilitation, skills development, and social integration.
This rehabilitation center has opened new possibilities for its residents. We offer essential medical support, therapy, and vocational training to help them become self-sufficient. However, to sustain and expand this initiative, we need your generous support.
Activities at Our Rehabilitation Center
At our rehabilitation center, we provide the following services:
1. Medical and Therapeutic Support:
Physical therapy, mental health counseling, and rehabilitative medical care to ensure their well-being.
2. Skills Development Training:
Handicrafts and Sewing: Training in handicrafts and sewing to help them generate income.
Computer Training: Offering technology skills and computer training for better employment opportunities.
3. Self-Reliant Living:
Teaching essential life skills such as cooking, hygiene, and daily chores to promote independence.
Providing vocational training for various self-employment opportunities.
4. Social Integration:
Organizing social and recreational activities to help them reintegrate into society.
Re-establishing connections with their families and communities.
Challenges We Face
While we have successfully initiated rehabilitation for 20 individuals, providing high-quality services and long-term support comes with several challenges:
1. Financial Constraints:
Covering the costs of medical care, therapy, training materials, and food and shelter.
Paying professional therapists and trainers to offer specialized care and skill development.
2. Lack of Equipment and Resources:
Procuring physiotherapy equipment, wheelchairs, computers, and other essential training tools.
3. Operational Costs:
Sustaining everyday expenses such as electricity, water, and other necessities requires a steady fund.
